Must end it: Congress MP on video of man cleaning gutter in Mumbai

Congress MP from Mumbai North Central, Varsha Eknath Gaikwad, shared a video on X (formerly Twitter) allegedly showing a man cleaning a gutter in Bandra. "Over a decade after India passed a law banning this inhuman practice...we're still here," the 50-year-old wrote. "Machines exist. Technologies are available. What is missing is our will," Gaikwad stated, adding, "We must end it."
