Mutual funds must avoid crypto-based investments till there's a law: SEBI

SEBI Chairman Ajay Tyagi has said that mutual funds should avoid cryptocurrency-related investments till there is a law for such digital assets in the country. During its board meeting on Tuesday, the markets regulator also made it mandatory for mutual fund trustees to take unitholders' consent before winding up any mutual fund scheme.
