MVA starts Jode Maro Andolan over Shivaji Maharaj statue collapse

MVA alliance has started 'Jode Maro Andolan' (hit with footwear) protest against Maharashtra government following the collapse of PM Narendra Modi-inaugurated statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Protest is being held from Hutatma Chowk to Gateway of India, which is closed for tourists amid heightened security. Meanwhile, BJP is holding a counter protest against 'politicisation' of the issue.
