'My son was tortured, killed', says arrested Punjab IAS officer's wife, govt denies

Arrested Punjab IAS officer Sanjay Popli's wife has said that her son Kartik was "tortured and killed" by officials of the Vigilance Bureau who went to their residence for inquiry. "The Vigilance Bureau and the DSP are under the pressure from (Punjab) CM," she said. Punjab Vigilance Bureau chief denied the allegations, saying, "We just went there to recover items."
