Myanmar junta fires at Chinese convoy seeking to aid quake victims

Myanmar's military junta fired at a Chinese aid convoy carrying earthquake relief supplies in Shan State on Tuesday. The junta claimed it shot into the air after the convoy failed to stop and no injuries were reported. In recent years, bilateral ties between China and current Myanmar government have faced difficulties due to alleged Chinese backing of rebels in Myanmar.
