Myanmar military torturing detainees for info: Released US journalist

Myanmar military is torturing detainees to extract information about the whereabouts of opposition members and activists, recently released US journalist Nathan Maung told CNN. The 44-year-old, who'd been detained in Myanmar for three months before being deported to US, said that he'd "prepared himself to die there, believing the soldiers would kill him". He described his time there as "hell".
