Myanmar's military in recent months has increasingly turned to conducting deadly airstrikes to stifle armed resistance in the country, reported non-governmental organisation Myanmar Witness. The report added that the military was heavily reliant on fighter jets and helicopter gunships supplied by Russia and China. The military "is destroying homes, schools and places of worship", it said.
