Mysterious black hole disc found 130 mn light-years away

Astronomers using Hubble Space Telescope have found a thin disc of material encircling a supermassive black hole at the heart of a spiral galaxy 130 million light-years away. Astronomers said the presence of the black hole disc in "such a low-luminosity active galaxy" was surprising. The disc's material was measured to be spinning at over 10% the speed of light.
