Mysterious dark spot on Neptune detected for the 1st time from Earth; pics released

Astronomers observed a dark spot in Neptune's atmosphere with the help of European Southern Observatory's Very Large Telescope. This is the first time the dark spot has ever been observed using a telescope on Earth as it was first discovered on Neptune by NASA's Voyager 2 in 1989. Experts said unexpected smaller bright spot was also spotted adjacent to it.
