Mysterious new traders make crores of rupees by betting on US-Iran ceasefire

A group of new accounts on prediction trading platform Polymarket made crores of rupees by betting 'Yes' on whether Donald Trump would announce a ceasefire with Iran, AP reported. A trader placed ₹66-lakh bets about 10 hours before the announcement and made ₹1.85 crore, marking 180% returns. Another made ₹45 lakh by placing ₹29-lakh bets 12 minutes before Trump's announcement.
