Mysterious space object found sending radio waves to Earth every 22 minutes

Scientists have discovered a mysterious space object that has been sending radio waves to Earth every 22 minutes for more than the last three decades. These bursts of energy last up to five minutes. Dubbed GPM J1839−10, the object's 15,000 light-years from Earth and could be a magnetar, a rare type of star with extremely strong magnetic fields, scientists said.
