Mysuru Dasara: Golden throne assembly begins at palace

Mysuru Palace has begun assembling the iconic Golden Throne ahead of Dasara 2026. The throne will be used by Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar during his traditional private durbar from October 11 to 21. Veerashaiva men from Gejjagalli are carrying out the assembly under strict security. Tourist entry will be restricted during the assembly and other key Dasara rituals.
