Mysuru Dasara: Mahendra dropped, Dhananjaya emerges as contender

Mahendra has been temporarily dropped from the Mysuru Dasara 2026 Golden Howdah race after stopping during a practice run. Officials reported no apparent physical health issues and suggested reluctance to carry the heavy load could be a factor. Dhananjaya has emerged as a contender, alongside Ekalavya, Sugreeva and Srikantha.
