N Korea dismisses defence minister in a major military reshuffle

North Korea's Defence Minister, No Kwang Chol, was dismissed on Saturday. The decision was made at a meeting led by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, during which they named Kim Song-gi as the new defence minister. Chol was not only dismissed but also demoted within the ruling party leadership to the "first vice-director of the Munitions Industry Department".
