Nagaland's 1st woman Rajya Sabha MP takes oath in traditional attire, jewellery

S Phangnon Konyak, the President of BJP Nagaland Mahila Morcha, took oath in the Rajya Sabha wearing her traditional Naga clothes and jewellery on Monday. She is the first woman from the state to get a berth in Parliament's Upper House. The 44-year-old leader was elected unopposed as the Rajya Sabha member from Nagaland on March 31.
