The cold wave gripped west India on Monday, as Nagpur (Maharashtra) shivered at 5 degree Celsius temperature, the lowest recorded in 45 years. The city had witnessed a minimum of 5.5 degree Celsius on Dec-29 in 1968. Meanwhile, there was no respite from bone-chilling cold in north India on Monday, with Amritsar freezing at zero degree Celsius.
