Nagpur woman killed by reckless driver's overspeeding car

A speeding car driven recklessly hit a scooter and then struck an elderly woman in Nagpur, Maharashtra on Saturday evening. The 61-year-old pedestrian Bhagyashree Kathiwan died on the way to a hospital, while the 19-year-old scooter rider Simran Mane is stable. Police have booked the driver Harsh Palewar for non-bailable culpable homicide and other offences.
