Nagpur zoo installs shade nets, coolers to protect animals from heat

Maharajbagh Zoo authorities in Nagpur have installed shade nets and coolers in enclosures to protect animals from scorching summer heat, especially leopards and bears. Caretakers are providing electrolyte water, glucose, and multivitamins to animals, along with regular water spraying to keep enclosures cool. Officials said they are prepared to safeguard over 200 animals amid rising temperatures.
