Aluminium giant NALCO has announced plans to invest over Rs 65,000 crore in ambitious domestic and international projects, including setting up a greenfield aluminium smelter abroad for an estimated Rs 20,000 crore. It is reportedly considering countries like Oman, Iran and Indonesia for the project. The company is also looking to expand its power and mining sectors with this investment.
