Name new airport 'Manohar Parrikar International Airport': Goa leaders

Politicians across parties in Goa have demanded that the new airport coming up in the state be named 'Manohar Parrikar International Airport' instead of 'Manohar International Airport', the existing name. Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao (Congress) and Goa Forward Party MLA Vijai Sardesai made the demand in the assembly on Wednesday, following which a resolution was passed.
