Name of India should be changed to Bharat: BJP MP Satya Pal Singh

BJP MP Satya Pal Singh, while speaking in the Lok Sabha, demanded the country’s name be changed to 'Bharat'. He said that the first paragraph of the Constitution has a mention of "India that is Bharat". He added, "The use of India should end. The name of this country is Bharat, which is a powerhouse of knowledge."
