Namibia declines Musk-led Starlink's request for telecoms licence
The Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia rejected an application by Elon Musk-owned Starlink for a licence to provide satellite internet services in the country. Authority could reconsider the decisions "on its own motion or on a petition filed by an aggrieved party" within 90 days, a notice read. Earlier in 2024, the regulator hit Starlink with a cease-and-desist order.
