Nana Patekar had lost his 2-year-old son, who was born with multiple health issues

Nana Patekar lost his eldest son Durvasa at the age of 2.5 after battling several health complications since birth. "My elder son was born with a cleft palate. He also had difficulty seeing through one eye," Patekar once said. He had recalled feeling disgusted at himself for thinking "what people would think, what kind of son Nana has".
