Narendra Modi Stadium sets Guinness World Record for highest attendance in a T20

Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad has set Guinness World Record for the highest attendance in a T20, the BCCI announced. The record was created on May 29, 2022, when 1,01,566 people attended the IPL 2022 final at the stadium. Sharing pictures of Secretary Jay Shah receiving certificate, the BCCI wrote, "A proud moment for everyone as India creates...Guinness World Record."
