Narsee Monjee barred from offering online courses: UGC

The UGC barred Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) from offering distance learning and online programmes due to violation of norms. "The institute was not following the fee refund policy promulgated by UGC," the commission said. "It may be allowed to offer...online programmes...beginning in July-August 2024...after obtaining necessary approvals from UGC," it added.
