NASA captures rare Arctic storm and cloud patterns over Alaska

The images showed clearer skies near the coast, while offshore cloud streets evolved into distinct open-cell cloud patterns stretching across the ocean. Alaska also witnessed persistent cold conditions and repeated storm activity throughout the month.
