NASA fires Indian-origin former diversity head Neela Rajendra: Report

Neela Rajendra, former diversity department chief at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), has been fired, a report by Washington Free Beacon said. The Indian-origin American's post was recently given a title change from 'Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer' to 'Team Excellence and Employee Success Officer'. US President Donald Trump earlier banned diversity programs at government agencies.
