NASA has invited ISRO to take part in its Moon Base programme, which aims to build a permanent human outpost near the lunar South Pole. The base was announced by NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman in May and will be built in stages, starting with robotic missions. The invitation was extended during ninth meeting of India-US Civil Space Joint Working Group.
