NASA's Perseverance rover to bring air from Mars to Earth

NASA's Perseverance rover, now exploring a new Martian world, is collecting rock and soil samples while capturing valuable atmospheric data. It has sealed 24 samples in titanium tubes, consisting of Martian air. The air in the tubes' "headspace" would offer unexpected insights, providing scientists a unique chance to study Mars' atmosphere with a primary focus on its ancient microbial life.
