NASA shares before-and-after pictures of Antarctica after record-breaking heat

NASA has shared satellite pictures showing 'widespread melting' observed in Antarctica earlier this month. The images, acquired by Operational Land Imager (OLI) on Landsat 8, show melting on ice cap of Eagle Island.
