NASA has shared 'how it started vs how it's going' pictures of Stingray Nebula captured 20 years apart by its Hubble Space Telescope. NASA said the images "show the nebula's changing shape and a dramatic loss of brightness." In a blog shared by NASA, researchers said the nebula's central star SAO 244567 is cooling, which is leading to the changes.
