NASA shares image of an illuminated Chennai captured from ISS

NASA recently released a photograph of Chennai illuminated by white LED streetlights along the Bay of Bengal coastline. The image was captured by astronaut Chris Williams aboard the International Space Station (ISS) at around 9:13 pm local time on May 2, 2026. “Earth observations from the space station let us see how our planet changes over time,” NASA said.
