NASA shares pic of 'Cosmic Reef' which looks like an undersea world in space

American space agency NASA's Instagram page has shared a picture of the 'Cosmic Reef', a vast star-forming region in the Large Magellanic Cloud, located 1.63 lakh light years away from the Earth. It has been named as such because it resembles an undersea world, NASA said. Captured by the Hubble Space Telescope, the image was first released in April 2020.
