NASA shares pic of debris of history's brightest star explosion

NASA shared an image of supernova remnant SN 1006, formed from a powerful stellar explosion witnessed on Earth in 1006 CE. NASA said the supernova was so bright that it was seen in daytime skies for weeks. The explosion hurled much of the star's material into space, creating an expanding shell of debris, roughly as wide as Earth's full Moon.
