NASA shares pic of Olympus Mons, tallest volcano in solar system

The Jet Propulsion Laboratory, which manages many of NASA's robotic missions, shared a picture of the tallest volcano in our solar system. The picture was captured by the Mars Odyssey Orbiter on March 11. The volcano, having a base sprawling across 373 miles (600 km), is wider than the distance from Los Angeles to San Francisco.
