NASA shares pictures taken by world's largest flying telescope

As NASA's SOFIA Telescope, world's largest airborne telescope, embarked on its final flight on Thursday, the US space agency shared a collection of some of the cosmic imagery assembled using SOFIA data. "Cruising at nearly 41,000 ft...SOFIA has taken breathtaking observations of a plethora of celestial objects," NASA wrote. The pictures included the Centaurus A, Cigar Galaxy and Omega Nebula.
