NASA shares video that simulates a black hole, people compare it with 'Interstellar'

NASA's Instagram page shared a visualisation simulating appearance of a black hole as seen on its edge, where inbound matter has collected into a thin, hot structure called an accretion disk. Referring to the 2014 film 'Interstellar', an Instagram user commented, "Reminds me of the black hole in Interstellar." "You can tell Interstellar production worked with scientists," another person commented.
