Naseem Shah fined PKR 20 mn over Maryam Nawaz tweet, largest fine in Pak cricket history

The PCB has fined pacer Naseem Shah PKR 20 million (₹68 lakh), the largest fine in Pakistan cricket history, over a deleted tweet that appeared to criticise Pakistan's Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz during PSL 2026 opener. "Why is she treated like the Queen at Lord's?" Naseem had tweeted. Naseem rendered an unconditional apology and sacked his social media manager.
