Nashik 'godman' Kharat's close aide, his wife die in car crash

Jailed Nashik-based self-styled godman Ashok Kharat's close associate Jitendra Shelke and his wife Anuradha died after their car rammed into a stationary container truck in Maharashtra's Ahilyanagar district. Shelke was the business partner of Kharat, who has been arrested on charges of rape and fraud. He was also vice-president of Shivanika Trust set up by Kharat.
