Nashik construction firm gets ₹1,136-crore project to digitise govt records, criticised

Nashik-based infrastructure company Ashoka Buildcon said it received Letter of Intent for "modernisation of offices of IG of Registration and Controller of Stamps". Ashoka said it'll earn ₹24.75/page for digitising and maintaining documents, taking the project cost to ₹1,136.18 crore. Multiple social media users questioned why an infrastructure company got a project for document digitisation.
