Nashik onion prices ease to ₹46 per kg at Lasalgaon

Wholesale onion prices at Lasalgaon, India's largest onion market, dropped from ₹55 to ₹46 per kg as fresh kharif arrivals from Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh increased buyer options. Egyptian imports also pressured rates. Retail prices remain high at ₹65 per kg due to 20-30% wastage. Daily arrivals stand at 6,000 quintals.
