National archery coach Kuldeep Vedwan gets 5 years in jail for sexually harassing minor athlete

National archery coach Kuldeep Vedwan has been sentenced to five years of rigorous imprisonment in a sexual harassment case. A Fast Track Special Court in Sonipat convicted him under POCSO Act and imposed a ₹15,000 fine. Vedwan was accused of entering a minor female archer's hotel room during 2023 Youth Championship trials and making inappropriate advances.
