National Award-winning filmmaker R Chezhiyan passes away at 57

National Award-winning filmmaker and cinematographer R Chezhiyan, known for films such as 'Joker', 'Paradesi', and 'Thenmerku', passed away on July 10 at the age of 57. Chezhiyan was receiving treatment for his prolonged illness in Chennai, according to News18. He made his directorial debut with 'To Let' in 2017, which won the National Film Award for Best Tamil Feature Film.
