National Stock Exchange acquires financial data platform Cogencis

India's National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Thursday said it has acquired Indian financial data provider Cogencis Information Services from Samara Capital for an undisclosed sum. NSE's Data & Analytics arm has bought the terminal business of Cogencis and sold the news arm of the company to Informist Media as a part of the transaction.
