Nationalist Citizens Party, with which rebel TMC MPs will merge, got 822 votes in Tripura polls

Nationalist Citizens Party of India (NCPI), with which 20 rebel TMC MPs announced their merger, was registered with the Election Commission on January 20, 2023. According to Election Commission records, the party received total donations of just ₹1.13 lakh. Two candidates of the party contested the 2023 Tripura Assembly polls under party symbol and received a total of 822 votes.
