NATO chief Rutte to visit US amid Trump's plan to exit alliance

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will meet US President Donald Trump in Washington next week for a "long-planned visit", NATO spokesperson Allison Hart said. The visit comes after Trump said his plan for US to exit NATO was "beyond reconsideration". Trump had expressed disappointment over NATO countries' refusal to send military support for the Middle East war.
