NATO members discuss sending troops to Greenland amid Trump threat

NATO countries have discussed deploying troops to Greenland in response to US President Donald Trump threatening to seize island. Germany was among dozens of European allies understood to have held informal talks over "what NATO troops would do" if Trump followed through on his threats. Trump said it would be an "unfriendly act" if Denmark refused to give up Greenland.
