NATO revealed its 'block, blunt and break' strategy to defend Europe against Russia. The first stage, "block", would stop a border invasion to prevent the seizure of territory; the "blunt" stage would mean attacking approaching forces from the air, sea and land. If the attack continues, NATO would launch the "break" stage and target supply routes and command centres.
