Navi Mumbai auto driver rapes, kills woman after she seeks ₹1,000

A 36-year-old autorickshaw driver has been arrested for allegedly raping and killing a woman in Navi Mumbai. During questioning, the accused said he picked up the woman from Turbhe railway station and raped her at an isolated place. He killed the woman after she demanded ₹1,000 from the accused and threatened to scream if he didn't pay her.
