Navi Mumbai BJP chief Sandeep quits party on being denied ticket

Navi Mumbai District BJP chief Sandeep Naik quit the party after being denied a ticket for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. He said, "I've submitted my resignation from the position of BJP Navi Mumbai District President and from the party's membership." His resignation came days after BJP gave a ticket to his father Ganesh Naik to contest from the Airoli constituency.
